Jurassic World review

Whilst very entertaining and visually appealing, the entire storyline was far far far too convenient. Everything happens rather conveniently. It's very disenchanting.

Ex Machina review

Looks beautiful, excellent mood and poses interesting questions about AI. However, has a slightly weak storyline and a rather unimpactful ending.

Horrible Bosses 2 review

Not fantastic, but adequately entertaining. The cast chemistry was great. Watch without any expectations, and it'd be a fun ride.

The Best Offer review

Didn't really know what to expect, but I probably should have expected that ending. Damn, I just wanted to believe.

The Grand Budapest Hotel review

Perfectly my kind of movie - not too serious, a visual treat and intriguing enough to just slightly wonder. Great acting by Ralph Fiennes, love how flamboyant he is. Love the costumes and the sets and the scenes and the details. Love it and will gladly watch again.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi review

A true feat of cinematography. The immense effort Jiro and his apprentices puts into their craft is inspiring. One can only hope to be that dedicated to something in life.

Gone Girl review

Dark, so unexpected, so smart. I love all the acting and psychopathing involved. Rosamund Pike is fantastic.

The September Issue review

Adequately insightful and interesting. Many interesting characters and all-around good fun. Seemed a bit frivolous in parts, but that's all part of the package I guess.

Behind the Candelabra review

Campy and frankly, a little pointless. Great acting but otherwise nothing from the plot engages the audience much.

About Time review

So thoroughly genuine and heartfelt that it is hard to fault the movie for anything. Simple romance, simple family snapshot that makes for an extraordinarily touching movie.
